Arstechnica posted their in-depth review of the new Moto G this morning and was so blown away by Motorola's new phone that they actually titled the article 'Google’s $179 Moto G puts every single cheap Android phone to shame'.   The reviewer, Andrew Cunningham put the Moto G through the site's usual smorgasboard of benchmark tests and comparisons and found the under $200 marvel to be punching above it's weight nearly universally.  While it couldn't quite keep up with such state of the art and spec laden flagships such as the Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, iPhone 5S and others when it came to raw pixel pushing speed, the one area it surprisingly bested most of its more expensive rivals was in battery life.

As can be seen in the chart above, the Moto G came in at an impressive 508 minutes during the Wi-Fi browsing test which was ahead of such notable devices as big brother Moto X (435 minutes), the Nexus 5 (400) and even barely edging out the iPhone 5S (507).  Not bad for a device that costs 1/3 as much.   The review itself is pretty awesome so head on over to Arstechnica and soak up all the details of the best Android handset anywhere under 200 smackers.
