worried I've killed my phone
« on: August 06, 2017, 04:24:43 PM »
A couple of days ago I replaced the battery in my phone following instructions on  you tube video. After I had fully charged it and tried to use it everything seemed fine but after putting it in my pocket, the next time I tried to turn it on the screen remained black and nothing happened. I connected it to the charger later and that seemed to wake it up but again it only lasted a very short time before it went black again and wouldn't respond. I connected to the charger again in the hope that it would come back to life and it did for a short time but a message appeared which invited me to format the SD card and I did, thinking that was needed to restore the phone. Now I'm thinking I might have removed its brain and that's why it won't work. Can it be fixed ? Please help. Any instructions will have to be quite simple given my level of understanding.
